Worship, music, and training for the Church.

I am Pastor James Okon. People also know me as James Okon. I lead worship, I record gospel music, I pastor, I speak, and I train choirs and worship teams. I live in Dallas–Fort Worth. The line I live by is simple: worship that points to the King.

If you lead a church, or you are organizing a gathering, you are welcome to invite me from anywhere in the world. A request on this site is something I review. It is not an instant booking, and it does not hold a date.

Worship That Points to the King.

The song is a pointer. We gather for the King, not for the person holding the microphone.

Raising worshippers, not performers

This is my line, and it is the aim of the training I give: a congregation that knows how to meet God. Musical presentation serves that aim. It is not the aim.

Worship beyond emotion

Feeling can accompany worship. It is not a substitute for it. I train skill and spirit to stand in the same room.
